What PyRPA Studio Does

PyRPA Studio is a local, no-code workflow automation app for desktop, files, web (Playwright/Chromium), PDFs/OCR, and spreadsheets. Most automations run locally on your device unless you configure external endpoints or cloud services.

Data We Process — Local App Data (Default)

Your workflows (.yaml), variables, logs, and the content you automate remain on your device by default. We do not receive these unless you choose to share them with support.

Data We Process — Personal Data We May Collect

• Subscription & licensing: name (optional), email, subscription/license identifiers, plan status, and product/OS version for activation, billing, fraud prevention, and updates.
• Diagnostics (optional): if you opt in, crash/error metadata and basic environment info.
• Website analytics (if enabled): IP address, pages viewed, device/UA.
• Support: email content/attachments you send.

What We Do Not Collect by Default

No keylogging; no export of workflow contents or credentials to our servers without your explicit action. We do not sell personal information.

Children

PyRPA Studio is intended for users 16+ and is not directed to children.

Windows Permissions & System Access

PyRPA interacts with Windows features you invoke (e.g., file system, screenshots, clipboard, camera/microphone only if used in a workflow). Windows privacy settings govern access, though classic desktop apps may operate outside certain per-app toggles—adjust OS settings accordingly.

Why We Use Your Data (Legal Bases)

• Contract: provide the app, subscriptions, and support.
• Legitimate interests: security, fraud prevention, reliability (optional diagnostics).
• Consent: non-essential analytics/marketing cookies on the website.
• Legal obligation: tax/audit.

Sharing

Processors under contract (payments/licensing, email/support, website analytics). Legal if required by law or to protect rights. We do not sell or share personal data for cross-context behavioral advertising.

Retention

• Subscription/billing records: statutory periods.
• Diagnostics (if opted-in): 12 months.
• Support emails: 24 months after resolution unless law requires longer.

International Transfers

Where data is transferred across borders, we use appropriate safeguards (e.g., Standard Contractual Clauses).

Your Rights

EU/UK: access, rectification, erasure, portability, restriction/object, and complaint to a supervisory authority.
